Oasis at Celtic Park: the guide

Five nights in May 2027, the first major concerts at Celtic Park in more than thirty years. How to get there, what to bring and how to get in.

Where it is

Celtic Park, Kerrydale Street, Glasgow G40 3RE, in the east end of the city. The city centre and both Central and Queen Street stations are under a 45 minute walk away.

By train

  • From Glasgow Central (low level) or Argyle Street to Dalmarnock or Bridgeton: both stations are within half a mile of the stadium.
  • From Queen Street to Bellgrove: about a mile from the stadium.

By bus

  • Buses 2, 61, 64, 240 and 255 run from the city centre to the Forge Shopping Centre on the Gallowgate, about a mile from the stadium.
  • From Glasgow Airport, about 12 miles away: the 500 Airport Express to the city centre, then a train or bus.

By car or taxi

From the north or south, take the M74 or M73 to the A74 towards Tollcross and Rutherglen, then about a mile along London Road. From the east or west, leave the M8 at junction 12, 13 or 14.

On match days there is a small car park, the Lisbon Lions 1 car park off Janefield Street, card only and first come first served. Whether it opens for the concerts has not been announced. The club asks anyone arriving by car or taxi to come early: the streets around the ground become very congested.

Bags and what not to bring

The stadium's standard rules, written for football, allow bags no bigger than A5 (21 x 14 x 8 cm), with exceptions for medical and access needs, and every bag is searched. The club asks people to bring no bag at all if they can. The promoter may set its own rules for the concerts.

  • No alcohol, and no entry while drunk.
  • No glass or any container that could hurt someone if thrown.
  • No fireworks, flares or smoke canisters.
  • No smoking anywhere in the stadium.

Getting in

Gates are expected to open at around 5pm for the Oasis shows. Go to the entrance shown on your ticket and have the barcode ready on your phone as you reach it. At sold-out events there can be airport-style queues and extra ticket checks, with the longest queues on Janefield Street for the North Stand. Leave plenty of time.

Crutches and other walking aids are not allowed in the standing area on the pitch, for safety in a moving crowd. If you need one, book a seat.

Food and drink

Kiosks and bars inside the ground are cashless: contactless cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Accessibility

  • Two raised wheelchair viewing platforms, and step-free entrances at gates 1, 2, NS1 and 29 for anyone who cannot use a turnstile.
  • A Changing Places toilet in the North Stand concourse, next to area 105.
  • Low counters at the kiosks.
  • Accessible places for the concerts are booked through us: see accessible booking. The stadium's access team is at accessibleseating@celticfc.co.uk.
